A letter from the N in TANcast
April 1st, 2010 . by NoahI’ve been sitting on this for a little while, not sure how I wanted to say it. Its been fun and strange and amazing, but my wife and I have decided that its time to say goodbye to TANcast and focus 100% on our family.
I told Tim and Andy last week, and we’ve been talking about “What Happens Next” since then. They both agreed I should be the one to break the news.
The site won’t move and the show won’t change it’s name. I will still be the “N in TANcast” through TANcast 100 (triple-digits!). I will probably do a guest shot every once in a while after that, but from TANcast 101 on it will be Tim and Andy’s show. Andy said he won’t be turning off my access to the site or to email, so I may log in and post something when I have time and something to say.
They are already talking to a few different people about being regular guest hosts and I’m looking forward to listening to it every week.
I’m a little sad, but like the breakup of the TAN House, it had to happen some time.

Noah, I’m a little misty right now. I knew this post was coming, but seeing it in print seems more real.
I can’t speak for Tim, but I’m gonna miss talking to you every week. I know we’ll be in touch on IM and we’ll see each other when I’m out in California, but this just feels like the night we all moved out in Summer 2005 except this time Tim and I are staying together instead of you and Tim.
I guess I’ve re-inherited Tim after all these years.
PS: You probably should have posted this yesterday or tomorrow, dumbass.

@Noah…No, you would not be the douche, but if you truly are leaving the show (which I’m certain nobody who is posting here wants), it is very suspect for you to make the posting on April Fool’s Day.
It is also suspect that the person who calls you out it the person who pulled last year’s April Fool’s Day hoax…
And if either of those turn out to be incorrect, then it is I who is the one who is being the douche…

Guys, Noah did not pull an April Fools’ Day prank on you.
I can say that with complete honesty because I wrote the post and both of the first two comments. That’s right kiddies: Reality is my plaything! Muahahaha!
Noah found out about this post when Geoff IMed him to ask why he was leaving the show. He’s a good sport for playing along as long as he did.
