TANcast 303 – Naked Pictures of Ebola

October 14th, 2014 . by Tim Babb (TANcast's #1 Host/Editor Fan)

This week, Andy travels to California and the boys record in his hotel room (on his bed…aw yeah). Noah reviews Gone Girl, Tim reviews Muppets Most Wanted, and Andy sees Frozen on Ice. Then the boys do a poorly researched salute to Saturday morning cartoons.

I would love if you guys made a new segment out of “Nostalgia Goggles”. Maybe take a vote online for a specific topic and have you guys discuss the nostalgia you have for it versus how it’s aged over time.

Hey TANcast. Big fan of the show. I’ve been listening since the PREPisode. I think the show Noah was referring to about the racers was Wacky Races. Here’s the intro:

Speaking of Nostalgia Goggles, a couple of months ago when I was spending a weekend sick in bed I finally scratched a nagging nostalgia itch and watched all of Ulysses 31 on YouTube.

There had just been a couple of barely-remembered scenes floating around in my memory for the last three decades and I’m glad I went back and dug them up. There are only 26 episodes and the plots make me cringe now, but I think they were pretty good for their time.

    Barry Gibb in space! =)
