Truth in Advertising

October 3rd, 2014 . by Tim Babb (TANcast's #1 Host/Editor Fan)

I’m scrolling through my Facebook feed the other day and I see this…

That’s a great ad for a website that sells t shirts with goofy slogans on them…except it doesn’t show the damn t shirt!!!

Unless maybe the point was to show off the superior necklines these shirts have? Why else would they have the photo cropped like that? Or maybe they’re saying if I put on the shirt I’ll look like pretty eyes up there in that photo? I just don’t get it.

What’s worse is that not one of those 30 comments you see there are, “WTF?! What does this shirt even say?”

I feel like I’m the only one who noticed. The rest of the comments were people saying how they were going to buy some shirts from there. Don’t do it, people! Don’t reward this company for such sloppy advertising strategies. If you need to buy some goofy t-shirts, I know just the place for you…

Ulterior motives for the win!!!
