So the other day I’m at the store and I buy some instant brown rice (Yeah, that’s how I roll, son). Nothing too fancy, just the store brand.

Unfortunately I have thrown away the box…otherwise I would have gotten a better picture of these instructions.

Day 7:

As a comedian, I run into some really funny people. Every so often I meet a comedian that I enjoy so much that I want the world to know. So during this blog-filled October (Blogtober), I’ll be highlighting a wonderful comic each Friday in a feature called TGIF: (This Guy/Gal Is Funny). These won’t be long essays or anything, just a little recommendation on some people to go to when you want to laugh. This week, I want to draw your attention to Brian Scolaro.

Day 6:

So Kiki asked in a recent comment what my thoughts were on Avatar coming to Walt Disney World. Normally, that’s the kind of thing I’d do on a Kingdom Comedy video, but sadly I just don’t have the time these days. Also, I doubt we’ll talk much about it on the podcast since the other two probably don’t really care one way or the other. So I thought I’d give my thoughts here.

Day 5:

Poetry is a way to express complex emotions that are hard to get across using simple prose. Poems often use odd language to help illustrate abstract concepts. Pop songs, on the other hand, tend to rhyme…and that’s pretty much it. They make little sense when held up to scrutiny. The idea being what if your favorite fictional characters had to get by with less (like the rest of us these days) Here are the gems Cracked passed up on…

I loves me some Jamba Juice. I only go once, maybe twice, a month so I always order the same thing (Citrus Squeeze). I should probably try something new but I don’t want to take any chances that my one Jamba trip for the month will not be delicious. I like what I like. Plus, their ads don’t do a great job of convincing me to try something new…

Day 2:

Short blog today since I was busy editing the latest TANcast. I recently snapped this picture of myself with my webcam…

Yes, that’s your boy, Tim, rockin’ a BABYBJÖRN and some flip flops while vacuuming the apartment. I think my favorite part of the picture is Baby Babb looking at the camera as if to say, “Won’t someone get me away from this loser?” Even a five month old knows what “goofball” smells like.

Day 1:

Since I’m clearly ripping off Michael Jackson’s Thriller video for the visuals of “Blogtober,” I thought that the first blog should be a salute to the gloved one. I wanted to do a High Five list of his songs…but I had too many favorites to narrow it down to five. So I decided to pick one album…specifically “Michael,” the posthumous album released last year. Now, the album only has 10 tracks, so every track had a 50/50 shot of making the list. But as you’ll see (and hear) these songs are surprisingly good. Even some of the tracks that didn’t make the list are pretty awesome. “Michael” was a wonderful album. With that, let’s start the High Five…

Once there was a dark, dingy, abandoned website called TANcast.com. Legend has it that it was once filled with blogs (and typos…oh so many typos). But no one has seen a blog post in a long, long time. Only the brave dare visit the decrepit site these days.

But this October, the ghost of Tim Babb returns to blog once a day, every day, all month long. So return here daily for Blogtober…if you dare!!!
