5 Halloween Songs

Day 31
For the last day of Blog2ober, I thought I’d share a list of my favorite “Halloween” songs. Okay…you know and I know, Michael Jackson’s Thriller will be #1 on this list. But don’t skip it, I managed to keep it fresh for you. How? You’ll have to read on.
5. Somebody’s Watching Me
I rediscovered how much I love this song about 10 years ago and I have not stopped loving it since. I do remember this video creeped me out as a kid though. Yipes! GET AWAY FROM THAT MAILMAN!!!
4. Theme from Halloween
Even though I’ve never seen this movie, I really like this simple yet creepy theme. It sure beats that catchy song from Halloween 3.
3. This is Halloween
I’m not actually the biggest fan of this movie (but I do like the Haunted Mansion overlay at Disneyland), but I’ve always really liked this opening number. This is the closes thing we have to a true “Halloween Carol.”
2. Ghostbusters
Love the song, love the movie, love the video…heck I even love the cartoon…what more can you ask out of life?
1. Thriller
We all knew this was coming. But instead of the video you’ve seen a million times already, here’s the Thriller segment from the Immortal World Tour by Cirque du Soleil. If you get a chance, you should see it in person. If you don’t have the chance, I’d recommend the sound track, a lot of fun mixes of Micheal’s hits.
