@Alissa does that really count as insulting Harry Potter? I didn’t say it was bad just that the plots were all similar. Same can be said of most Bond films or even episodes of Star Trek.

Tim: you are ignert, beards can be different colours without hair dye like Bluebeard the Pirate. When I wore a younger man’s clothes my hair was brown and my beard was red.
Andy: in Australia there is a charity event for the month of November called Movember where guys grow a moustache and get sponsored for it, with funds raised being donated towards research into important men’s health issues like prostate cancer and depression. If you were to do a Jamie Mythbusters mo it would be well worthy of Movember!

I think I’m going to turn reCAPTHCA back off for a bit and see what happens.
32 of the 33 spam posts we got since Friday night came from the same IP address, so between the IP bans and some other tricks in place we might not need it.
In related news, fuck China. Guess where that IP address was located.

Well we just got 100 more pieces of SPAM in the last 12 hours. Good times! Should we at least take it as a compliment that we are important enough to SPAM? No? I thought not.

@Andrew I know beards can be different colors. Mine is actually much darker than my hair. But the color of that Giants pitcher just looks FAKE!

83 of the 200 spam posts came from 117.35.249.65. China. Again.
The other 117… no, make that 119 (2 more arrived as I type this)… came from 99 separate IP addresses. Of those 99 addresses, several were from one B block (again, in China) so those whole blocks are getting banned. The rest are scattered all around the internet (probably some lone operators, some botnets).
reCAPTCHA is going back on. I know it’s a pain, but it must have been helping.
