I think the no camera’s on space mountain has to do with them not wanting to pay to replace your lost camera’s after they fly out of your hand on the ride, and drop down and smack another rider in the head haha. Been along time since I have been on that ride. I am guessing it is the same as the one in florida?
February 9th, 2009 at 5:13 pm
The one in Florida has two tracks. I was going to go on vacation there in June, then I found out that Space Mountain would be closed. Watch, I’m going to wait till winter and when I decide to go, Star Tours is going to be closed and when it opens, Hayden fucking Christensen is going to be there to ruin my childhood. I fucking hate the new trilogy!
February 9th, 2009 at 5:39 pm
I’m glad they are refurbing Space Mountain at Disneyworld. My wife and I were there in 2007 and it was in serious need of some fixing.
February 10th, 2009 at 6:10 am
It is very jolty. They’re removing the tracks and replacing them with smoother ones in the same configuration.
February 10th, 2009 at 12:24 pm
SM in florida, well, IMO, sucks. Disneyland is so much smoother and nicer.
Yes, there is a Lily Allen – she’s a trainwreck of a singer. Don’t know about her music, but personally, she appears to be a fat, slightly less cracked-out, Amy Winehouse.
And once I woke up from Andy’s dissertation on coding, pinging and iTunes, I laughed my ass off for the rest of the episode. Thanks! Loved the Obama audio. Awesome!
February 10th, 2009 at 1:19 pm
I liked Lilly Allen’s first CD, I think she has another out, kind of a funny british thing she has going on. Never heard of her until my sister had the cd playing in her car, doesn’t seem to be too mainstream.
February 10th, 2009 at 6:47 pm
Wow Princess Edamame, someone is bitter!! What the fuck did she do to you to make you hate her so much? Or is it just that you enjoy being catty to celebrities you will never have to meet face to face?
February 11th, 2009 at 4:12 am
Uh oh…no fighting kids or I’ll turn this podcast around and we’ll all go home.
I can relate because I have a fierce hatred of many celebrities that I have never (and likely will never) meet.
Yet I will defend Ben Afleck to the death! That man is a great actor and those who think otherwise can suck it!
February 11th, 2009 at 6:50 am
sorry bout that Tim and Princess Edamame.
I kinda like Lily Allen and think she’s hot, she needed defending.
also I loved the new Kingdom Comedy!

Tim Tim tim….did you see sum of all fears…. haha just picking on you man. He generally has good movies, not always my favorit though.
February 11th, 2009 at 2:38 pm
I actually didn’t think Sum of All Fears was bad. (And I am Harrison Ford’s #1 super-fan!) Now DareDevil…that was crap. Dunno if it was Ben’s fault…but someone should be in trouble for that turd.
February 12th, 2009 at 7:21 am
If you have seen Ghost Rider (which is from the same director as DareDevil) then you can’t blame it all on Affleck. That director is horrible, and seems to like making the villians wear gay leather trench coats.
And I am shitting my pants in anticipation for Watchmen!
February 12th, 2009 at 7:21 am
I think DareDevil had more to do with bad writting, I could have been great. Who ever wrote the spin off Electra (is that right?) also did a crappy job I think. Both characters had alot more potential.
February 12th, 2009 at 10:48 pm
Tim, I fixed the feed. Booyah.
Someone didn’t check (or some fucked up plugin fucked up) the option to include this podcast’s actual audio file in the RSS feed. I re-checked the checkboxes and voila, there’s a link to the audio file again.

Thanks guys. Gave me something to listen to while I was waiting for my wife to get out of recovery from her emergency C Section.
And Ben Afleck was the bomb in Phantoms, yo.
February 13th, 2009 at 12:56 am
Word on the street is that the directors cut of Daredevil is way better but I haven’t seen it myself.
February 13th, 2009 at 4:59 am
Tony…I think you’re taking your love of TANcast a little too far. You don’t have to get your wife a C section just because Andy did. Seriously though, I hope she and the baby are doing well.
And great pull with J&SBSB reference 😉
February 13th, 2009 at 11:45 am
Hey Jess, didn’t mean to abandon our “fight”. 🙂 As I said, I don’t know about her music – it may be great. I like Amy Winehouse, even tho she’s a cracked-out trainwreck. But from what I’ve read about Lily Allen, she appears to have gone through a rough time (miscarriage, I think), which was when I first heard of her, and came out on the wrong side – drugs, drinking, and fucking up her life. While I cmpletely sympathize about the rough time part, and I know its hard for people already in the public eye, I think that a little fortitude is in order.
As far as never having to meet her, I’m married to a real-life musician with lots of real-life musician friends, so you never know! 😉
And sorry Tim, you don’t have to turn around.
Unless you’re going to Caffe Roberto on Jefferson in Culver City. Then, definitely turn the car around.
February 13th, 2009 at 12:17 pm
Actually Lilly Allen just released her new album on the 10th, weird how these things came up, I just downloaded it, I like it, but I have a thing for attractive british women…..Kierra Knightly
It is more grown up than her last album, stronger lyrics.
February 13th, 2009 at 1:32 pm
Sidenote – it looks like she’s thinned up a bit, so I’ll retract my “fat” comment.
February 13th, 2009 at 4:25 pm
Andy – Trying to think of which best friend of mine should become “Elbow Dick”
Tim – I just might have to drive to Gilroy for lunch and taste this Sonic of which you speak
Noah – Thanks for Facebook postings/links
February 14th, 2009 at 6:49 am
There’s a funny video of Lily Allen and Elton John presenting some award, and it’s one huge cat fight! She calls him out about being an old queen or something, and he makes some snide comment about her coke habit.
Saucer of milk to table 2 please! meow!
February 14th, 2009 at 8:24 am
Tim – Trust me, C Section wasn’t anticipated, but when the cord wraps around the baby’s neck and legs…*grins and shrugs* They’re both fine now, passed out. Got pics up on my Facebook, if you give a flying rat’s ass. *LOL*
Noah – The Director’s Cut was a HELL of a lot better than the theatrical release. It’s weird how one small side story actually makes it a better movie.
