Hey did you ever notice that the ending theme of the Hulk TV show sounds a lot like the instrumental part of James Blunt’s “Your beautiful”. Good show guys.

I don’t know what y’all listen to, or if you watch music videos at all…but right after listening to this I saw the vid for Weezer’s song “Pork and Beans” and busted up laffing. Because their vid stars a bunch of internet celebs. including the numa numa guy AND chris crocker.
just thought that was a fun coincidence.

I’m not sure about Tim, but Noah and I are big Weezer fans. He told me about “Pork and Beans” the day the video dropped on YouTube, and I laughed my silly ass off.
South Park beat Weezer to the “parody all the internet memes” punch by about 2 months, though:

Short version: Nobody (human) picked that face for you.
We are planning to display personal icons on comments, so I just turned on a system that automatically generates a little avatar face based on your e-mail address for anyone without an icon (specifically, a gravatar or openvatar).
This all might change soon; I may replace the faces with a default image or a generated geometric shape, I may keep the faces, or I may pull the avatar icons altogether. There’s a lot of work to be done (new theme, changing ads, better podcast stats, banner images, etc.) and I’ve been having fun experimenting, so from time to time some weird shit is gonna pop up on the site.

Hrm….music videos using Youtube stars? Don’t know about South Park…stopped watching that back around 2001…but I checked Weezer’s video, uploaded May 23, 2008.
Barenaked Ladies uploaded Sound Of Your Voice Feb. 6, 2007. Used some of the same folks, like Numa Numa and Eepybird.
Wonder how far back this goes?
Sorry…gotta do something to kill time before the next TANcast comes out.

And Andy, to clear things up, I am Mama’s (ugh) “step” daughter and your “step”sister…but we don’t like to use that word at our house..meanie…
