In my random internet surfings, I came across this list of “Best 80s Music Videos” on a site called liketotally80s.com. Don’t worry, you don’t need to click the link, I grabbed a screen shot from my iPhone. Let’s look at this list…

Notice anything missing from this list? The songs are listed alphabetically. Look under the “B.” No Bad, Beat it, or Billie Jean. Now look under “S.” No Smooth Criminal or Say, Say, Say. Wait…I’m not done! Look under “T.” Yeah, that’s right, Thriller is not on this list. F***ING Thriller is not on a list of “Best 80s Music Videos!” W! T! F! Not only was Thriller one of the greatest music videos of the 80’s, it’s arguably the greatest music video of all time!

How do you make this list with out putting these videos on there?! I thought maybe the list maker had something against Michael Jackson. But no. Look under “W.” Wanna Be Starting Something is there. Well that’s great…except THAT SONG DIDN’T HAVE A MUSIC VIDEO!!!

Congratulations, Liketotally80s.com, you guys have just failed at the one thing you’re site is supposed to know about…the 80’s. You should just give it up! Sell your domain name to someone who has some actual 80’s knowledge. You’re a worse 80’s site than TANcast is a podcast…and that’s saying something.
