5 Best Candies

Blog2ober
Day 23

As Dean pointed out, “Blog2ober” has turned into aloof “look at Tim failing.” So I thought today’s blog could be about A) something positive and B) something Halloween related. And what’s more positive than candy?! It’s delicious, right? So let’s take a look at the 5 best candies.

5. M&M’s

Cat decide between Plain, Peanut or Peanut butter…but they are a solid go-to treat when you’re got a sweet tooth

4. Nerds

They say you are what you eat…

3. Starburst

Theses might be higher on the list if it weren’t for that pink one. You’re lucky red is there to bail you out, pink!

2. Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups

There IS a wrong way to eat a Reese’s…take MINE and you die.

1. Kit Kat

This is the candy I buy for myself most often. I think part of it is the fun of breaking it apart. A little demolition with my sugar. Gotta love it

Honorable Mention: Cadbury Creme Eggs

Easter’s most hated candy has an honorary place on this list. I even have one in my fridge that I’m going to enjoy Halloween night…so there!

Dishonorable mention: Skittles

A year ago, Skittles would have been #1 on this list…and then they swapped out the lime flavor and put in green apple. Go @#$% yourself, Skittles. Stick your stupid sour flavors in your stupid sour bags of Skittles that no one buys and leave the lime alone. I haven’t bought a bag since I tasted the new green apple flavored Skittles and I won’t buy one again until they change it back.

Okay, that’s my list, what are YOUR favorite candies?

They now have the Cadbury Scream Egg for Halloween. At least in NJ it’s available.

Twix; Nestle Crunch; 100,000 Bar; Charelston Chew (Target has a huge one); and my favorite… Ikea Milk Chocolate bar. Holy cow it’s the best choc I’ve ever tasted (made in Germany)! And it’s only $.99 for a large bar.

Oh, Skittles, how you have fallen. Tim, I’ve seen Halloween Cadbury Eggs, but I’ve refused to buy them, because they’re my Spring addiction. Maybe I’ll try one for science.

    5. Tootsie Pops
    4. Red Vines
    3. Milky Way
    2. Three Musketeers
    1. Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups

And thanks to moderated posts, I couldn’t see Todd’s post until I posted my own. Yes, Tim, got that? There are Halloween Cadbury Eggs!

Damn, I forgot Twix. Honorable mention!

In no particular order (seriously, I would eat all of these at once if I could):

    1. Snickers
    2. Twix
    3. Kit-Kat
    4. m&ms (peanut butter, plain, peanut – only those, in that order. Screw you, crispy crap)
    5. Hershey’s kisses (I love Hershey’s with almonds, too, but they’re more expensive so we don’t get them as often.)

  5. DeanNo Gravatar Says:

Twix, KitKat and similar are cookies AND chocolate so you’re getting TWO indulgences for the price of one…

I’m totally with you on the Skittles. They are usually my favorite, but I hate the green apple.

So much agreement on the Skittles. Fuck Green Apple. It’s gross.

Lime is coming back in 2015 in Skittles Orchards

  9. benamoreNo Gravatar Says:

    R.I.P. Lime Skittles
    1974 – 2013

But they will be back in 2015 in Skittles Orchards
