Another day, another dip into the vault. This time I found a birthday card that two of my friends made for me. It was so awesome, I had to share. First the cover.

And now we open the card for the M. Night Shyamalan-esque twist…

Look at that. How does that NOT bring a smile to your face? And they did this all by hand! You kids don’t know. In this age of the internets. They didn’t steal some random clip art and write a joke on it. They thought up and executed this whole thing from scratch. I’m twice as old as I was when I got this card and I’m still impressed.

But my favorite part is back on the cover. Take a look at the Peeping Tom (or Peeping “Tim” in this case)

That may seem like a zany caricature…with the crazy hair and sad little ponytail, but look at this photo graphic evidence.

Yes, if this card hadn’t been sitting in my “treasured letters” box all these years, it surely would have won some award.
