Haven’t listened yet, but I read the Title as “Apps for APES” at first…

After this episode, I now have a nickname!

So, let me get this straight, you guys with your iSuck phones have to connect a WIRE to your phone to get Tancast on there? The Google Listen App for android downloads my podcasts automatically for me. It’ll do it over 3g or Wireless, and I can set it to do only one or the other, and I can set it to check at certain intervals. As soon as the podcast is listened to, it automatically removes the podcast from my phone. It’s a bit of a pain to add new podcasts, but once you add them, listening to them is EASY.

Next thing you are going to tell me is that you have to connect your iPhone to your computer to download operating system upgrades. wait. you DO? what the hell is the point of having a WIRELESS phone if you have to hook it up to a WIRE to put things on and off the phone?

Tim, some apps I enjoy on my Droid that SHOULD also be available on your iPhone-

Radar Now- gives you live local weather radar
Word Feud- scrabble (like words with friends, but simpler and faster loading)
Where’s my Water?- a game where you have to get water to an Alligator (its a Disney game… you’ll love it)

I wish you could get my favorite though- there is a Tricorder app for Android that you can use to search for Wireless nodes, it has a decibel meter, compass, sun phase calculator, and accelerometer.

I really feel bad for that half faced homeless guy. I mean he was already homeless, probably hungry, and really not loving life and then some naked crazy guy decided that he needed to eat a part of his face.

Got out of school early today, had some time to kill before the Euro 2012 football started and remembered I still had TANcast 201 to listen to, then I logged on to find 202 has gone up. Two hours of TANcast!

@Bryan – iOS5 (the last big iPhone OS update) allows you to update your OS from the device. I know because my iPad hasn’t see my laptop since it’s initial set-up but is running on the latest version.

Great episode guys, definitely going to be downloading the Songify app. I also remember checking out that “app for apps” Noah mentioned before but soon discovered it was US only. Hopefully I can find a UK edition because sometimes the deals differ between the two stores I believe.

Looking forward to what you guys thought of WWDC today and iOS6. No doubt we’ll hear all about it next week!

Hey everybody, I’m gonna put myself out on a limb and ask my fellow listeners for some help. YouTube.com/LoboMaloArte check me out, leave a comment and maybe subscribe, much appreciated, much love, and let whatever your religious views do to you what they are supposed to do.

Also thanks Andy & Tim for spending so much time on something that is completely free. I gave up on checking iTunes a long time ago…….

For a second there… a long second… I thought we were going to hear angry Noah… if Andy had poke at that bear just a little more….

My memory is a sieve, what was the name of the new NPR podcast?

I believe the show is called “Ask Me Another.” I’m downloading it now. I’ll give my review on next weeks show.
