A note to all of you:
When I founded my company, Unshackled Entertainment Inc., one of the founding principles was this: If you can do some good while you do some business… well, that’s good business.
With that principle in mind, I am proud to announce the launch of “IT AIN’T NO JOKE!” The concept is a simple one. Unshackled will produce comedy shows to benefit a variety of charities and causes.
My friend, Gladys Perez, contacted me because she was finding people to pledge money to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. To “earn” the donations, Gladys is running a marathon. I figured if she could run a marathon, the least I could do is gather some of my favorite comics and run my mouth. “IT AIN’T NO JOKE!” has been on my heart and mind for a long time. And this seemed like a great opportunity to do “good business.
”Come out and have a good time for a great cause.
It may be true that cancer ain’t no joke. But that don’t mean we can’t laugh in the face of cancer.

And this is from my other dear friend Ed Greer:
Please support this show. $15.00 is probably not that much to you but it means a lot to the people who are striving to live with these diseases and the people trying to eradicate these illnesses. Please come to this and tell others. Very rarely do you get to have a good time donating to a cause. Please come to this.

And this is from me:
Please pass this bulletin on. My wife has been a suporter of Team in Training by actually running, swimming, and biking and crap…I figure the least I can do is tell some jokes for this cause…but I need you to be there for me to tell them to you.
Thanks!
