12 Silly Things I’m Thankful For

November 28th, 2013 . by Tim Babb (TANcast's #1 Host/Editor Fan)

Talkin’ Turkey With Tim Babb
Day 28

So I’ve seen a bunch of people posting what they’ve been thankful for all month, and that’s super cool. But it’s not exactly filled with surprises. So you can all assume I’m thankful for my lovely wife, adorable son, wonderful mom, my great mother-n-law, my home, my health, my job, my country…blah blah blah! Here’s some stuff I’m thankful for that isn’t that important…but I still love it!

12) Peperoni Pizza

I mean, what more do I need to say? Delicious!

11) Movie Theater Popcorn

Popcorn is always great, but it’s somehow better at the movies. Maybe it’s the higher prices?

10) Star Trek: The Next Generation

This show is so awesome. I will always be a Star Trek fan because of this show.

9) Netflix

This allows me to watch the above show whenever I want. Along with so much other stuff. Gotta love it!

8) The Marvel Cinematic Universe

As a DC Comics guy, this kinda hurts to say…but the Marvel folks are killing it on the big screen.

7) Goofy

Mickey is great, but I love this guy! I even got to meet him once.

6) Snopes.com

We all have a few people who insist on posting utter nonsense on their Facebook. I love being able to have a link to tell them WHY they are full of $#!&

5) Costumes

I just love dressing up. Now that I’m a grown up, I can buy whatever costumes I want. YAY!!!

4) John Oliver

This guy makes me laugh every time. I’m sad he’s leaving the Daily Show. I’m sadder that I don’t have HBO (to watch his new show). But I’m super happy he’s sticking with the Bugle Podcast!

3) Disneyland

Happiest place on Earth. ‘Nuff said.

2) The John Williams Superman Theme

I don’t know if I’ve ever mentioned it before, but I REALLY like this music.

1) Christmas Carols

Yes, now that Thanksgiving is here, the Christmas season officially begins and I no longer have to listen to Christmas carols on the down low. That video up there is 3 hours of some of the best carols ever. Pump it up and enjoy (before YouTube pulls it down again)
