People were on Larry King last night bemoaning the tragedy of Farrah's snub. At length. With trembling voices.

Hey, retards: Farrah doesn't care anymore.

People just get way butt-hurt about shit that doesn't actually affect them. It's like intellectually lazy activism. They feel good because they took a stand, but their outrage doesn't accomplish anything.

Oh geez! I forgot about "This Is It" I guess that should count for something for Michael. It made 260 million dollars world wide.

"Fawcett was best known for her 'remarkable television work'" Whereas MJ=movie star???

Actually, I think that the most disturbing line in this article is the use of the term "necrology sequence". I don't care if it's accurate terminology, Sandy Cohen of the AP, you've got issues, girl! Surely it's not just me who finds that term creepy?

I don't totally care whether or not MJ was mentioned, it makes sense that he was so whatevs, but I was upset that Farrah Fawcett wasn't. That's just not cool, ya feel me? And that was the only part of the Oscars that I watched. So I guess that's all I can say about that.

Avatar...saw it twice both times I thought it looked cool but the story was really lacking. I am glad the hurt locker beat them. A good movie has to be more than special effects.

I too have not seen Avatar and have no desire to ever see it. There really seemed to be no story to it. I was surprised that they mentioned Michael Jackson and even more surprised and kind of pissed that in the tribute to horror films they used clips from Twilight, Beeteljuice, and as you mentioned via facebook/twitter, Edward Scissorhands. In no way are those movies frightening in any way. Watching the oscars always makes me want to watch alot of these movies but my apathy seems to always get the best of me. I'm glad that Up won and the song from it which won the award still makes me a little teary.
