There really seemed to be no story to it. I was surprised that they mentioned Michael Jackson and even more surprised and kind of pissed that in the tribute to horror films they used clips from Twilight, Beeteljuice, and as you mentioned via facebook/twitter, Edward Scissorhands. In no way are those movies frightening in any way. Watching the oscars always makes me want to watch alot of these movies but my apathy seems to always get the best of me.
