How do you avoid becoming the thing you hate, when you hate everything? If you find yourself in that situation (which I always do), I have a simple suggestion. Put the things you hate on a scale. On the one end of the spectrum, you'd laugh if a person with that trait died. On the other end... you'll perform their vasectomy with a rusty spoon, break their nose, smash a sledgehammer into their spine, and then push them into a vat of acid. (note: nobody has yet reached the far end of this scale. I'd say that's a good thing, right?)
