LOL easily the funniest podcast so far. something about the wives in the background correcting or giving feedback .

I was interested in Andy’s assertion that he only owns “one pair of tan crocs”. Surely this is a marketing opportunity going to waste at the TANstore. “TANcrocs: show your support for Andy’s fashion choices (or mock him to show your disdain) with new TANcrocs(TM)!”.

Yeah, my first TANlaugh! And great synchronicity there, Nick. Glad I was able to get joke credit with you.

As for the name, yes it is not my real name. And it has nothing to do with the disease sent to Senators in 2002-2002, nor does it have anything to do with the metal band. It was an internet name that I took back in the old days of BBS systems that took references from Peanut’s characters (Snoopy as Joe Cool) and Graham Chapman in “Yellowbeard” (Dr. Death! Dr. Maim! Dr. Kill!!!…What about Dr Anthrax?).

Don’t know how much I should go into about how my wife and I met. I usually tell my daughters that we met in college at a movie. I fail to bring up the movie was midnight showings of Rocky Horror Picture Show, and we were both “acting” in it.

And that is why I can never run for governmental office…

I’m going to keep my Valentine’s Day related comment short, sweet, and to the point. FUCK VALENTINE’S DAY! >_> Yeah, that about sums up how I feel about the day
I’ll be listening to Tim’s Ode to Valentine’s Day repeatedly all day long. lol

Tim… what did you do to Bryce to piss him off?

  6. Bryce (Tancasts #3 Fan)No Gravatar Says:

Didn’t mention the Valentine’s day anniversary for my fiancee and myself. Not really pissed. I’m happy TANcast continues on.

Did I miss something? When was Bryce pissed off?

And sorry Bryce…there were too many things going on and I dropped the ball.

  8. Bryce (Tancasts #3 Fan)No Gravatar Says:

Tim, your ball is ok. I was joking. If I was that sensitive, I wouldn’t be listening to TANcast.

Cute stories – actually made me “aww” once or twice. I know! Someone “aww”ed at TANcast!

Anyway, since you asked, hubby and I met at Disneyland in Summer 1994. I was 19, he was 34. He was playing in the sax quintet on Main Street, and I used to watch the band with my Dad. We got to making eyes at each other, then meeting on his breaks, then we went out…and the rest is history.

As for The Proposal, we went through MANY holidays where I thought “this is it!”, so I could totally empathize with Tim’s wife. I finally politely told him to shit or get off the pot, in a cute way of course, and we got engaged in the parking lot at Knott’s Berry Farm, and were married 10 years ago this March. Because I picked my own ring, he gave me an engagement Breakfast at Tiffanys Barbie, which is one of the few I kept after eBaying a bunch of my “collection” to raise some cash and get them the hell out of our house.

I though Noah met his wife after he finished hunting some wooly mammoth. He saw her skinning a freshly caught rabbit and he fell in love. So he conked her on the head with his club and took her to his cave. IT WAS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL LOVEMAKING EVER. Too bad she couldn’t remember it.

I met my fiancee on myspace. She likes saying we met through a mutual friend. Isn’t that cute?

  12. Bryce (Tancasts #3 Fan)No Gravatar Says:

    Denial.

One of the best TANcasts so far

  14. Murray (TANcast's #1 Aussie Fan)No Gravatar Says:

Bryce: That friend would be “Tom”, I take it? 🙂

  15. Bryce (Tancasts #3 Fan)No Gravatar Says:

Yeah. It’s pretty funny how embarrassed she is by that. She saw me on a friend’s profile, she added me and complimented a new tattoo I got on my ribs. She had one too so I complimented hers and the next thing I knew we were on a first date.

At the time I was on Myspace compulsively because I was working at a porn shop and HATED it. It was gross and the people made me want to die three or four times a day. She was a beam of light in a very dark Mr. Binky’s while I was escaping from it on the internet. When we met, she was a lot prettier in person.

The first date was a disaster. I got drunk on box wine because I was nervous and tried to impress her by pulling a strings through my nose and pulling it out my mouth. I threw up and felt like an ass. She still kissed me at the end if the night. A couple days later, I asked her to go steady at a restaurant on Valentine’s day expecting her to say no. She said yes and it’s been three years today. Happy Valentine’s day.

  16. LoganNo Gravatar Says:

Bryce, I don’t think that 1st date was as bad as you remember, because she kissed you at the end of the night 🙂 Cute story.

    Tim,
I made a video for Nina for our anniversary that I think you’ll appreciate. It’s made out of pictures from our last trip to Disney World.
