FINALLY got around to listening to this week. I find it funny because I was just going through Rob P.’s videos on Youtube earlier (remembered catching his Pachabel skit on Dr. Demento a while back) and had some major deja vu hearing him here.

Shit – forgot one thing. (I think forgetting a comment and then posting two in succession would be on my bingo card – sorry guys)

When I was a young lass (warthog?), and the 105 freeway was being built, a bunch of houses were slated for demolition, so they filmed part of an episode of Great American Hero there, where they crashed a car through the front of a house. My mom, neighbor, and maybe sister, went down the street to watch it. (we lived down the street). And all I remember was tripping, skinning my knee, and missing it.

And yes, I’m plagued with filming TV and movies fucking up my day. Except when I filed a DIsney training video. That was pretty cool, and only fucked up my nights.

I think Gary is right. The Uh Oh noise was used by ICQ when you got a message. I used to use that all the time and that noise has been imbedded into my mind.

Perhaps he wasn’t speaking of “tears” as the liquid that falls from you eyes, but “tears” as in anal fissures…to which I would be certain to claim as the reason behind a mic-fail.

Side note, my friend and I were listening at work (don’t worry, we work late at night with no one around) and we wondered beforehand how far into the list it would be before the Greatest American Hero theme would be mentioned…Nailed it.

I thoroughly enjoyed this episode.
And the reason I blew you off was mostly the fact that I don’t have a good mic and therefore if I were to participate my audio would be hella shit. And I really don’t know what on earth I would add to the conversation. Lol.
