This is just for fun, and I can’t get it embedded into TANcast, but I found a site that is working on online ranked voting. I’ve taken all the items from the PollDaddy survey that got at least one vote and entered them here:

You can drag to reorder your preferences, then submit and see the results. These ranked votes will be calculated to find not just the single most popular option of dozens, but the most PREFERRED option.

For example, say you like “squirrelofjustice”, but you know it’s not that popular and you definitely prefer “yourmom” to “fucktards”. In the poll above you’d probably vote for “yourmom” to try to make a difference instead of voting for your real preference.

In the vote I linked to, you could order the options “squirrelofjustice”, then, perhaps, “cockbites”, then “yourmom”, then “fucktards”, then whatever else you liked even less. All relative preferences would then be calculated to get the option most people prefer to most other options.
