Andy, that’s cool. I’ll keep my eye open for it.

And let’s be honest, I’m going through their podcasts right now, and with the million and one podcasts they have in their medicine section about sex, swinging, Lesbian Mafia, Naked News, etc., I’d be very surprised if they wouldn’t let you guys in.

Keeping my fingers crossed, and when it’s up, if they have any way to rate it, you’ll get a high one.

And another thing I’m curious about…
You guys have your podcast up on iTunes….is there any way to get it up on the Zune Music Store?
Doesn’t bug me either way…just the lazy bit in me would like to subscribe through there, but it’s just as easy to save it off the site when it’s put up.
And if I’m getting too annoying, just lemme know, and also let Tim know. He knows where I work, and he knows that I’m not allowed to retaliate against anything he does to me.

I’m shocked. In just over 24 hours since I enabled logging, this single episode of TANcast (posted 5 days ago) has been downloaded from the website, listened to online, or pulled via the feed (mostly iTunes) by 15 unique IP addresses other than me and we have had 54 total “unique views” of all the podcasts.

I’ll be really interested in seeing how many unique IPs grab the next episode. We may have underestimated the size of our listener base, thinking it microscopic when it might be merely tiny.

I actually just found a way to make our web server spit out convenient podcast stats!

It turns out that all I needed to do was slaughter a kid (a goat, not a child) under the August moon in a circle drawn with the urine of 5 virgin pan-handlers (the modern equivalent of Gypsy princesses) while chanting “Ech-Apa! Sehrp-Drow! PEE AYCH PEE !!!” and making the sign of the cross over my third nipple (thank God I came equipped with a spare!) until a cloud the shape of a bunny slid across the moon’s face.

Once that was done, I came back inside, fired up the WordPress Admin console, checked the settings of the podPress plugin, and located and switched on “stats”.

That last part was a real bitch.

We actually don’t know how many people listen, I am sure there is a way to figure it out but Andy is the resident nerd. So I leave it to him to figure out. I am sure there is more then 5 but not many I am sure compared to other Podcasts.

Ya know, it’s always funny to comment on how few people you have listening/reading your work….but it really has me curious.

Have you guys been able to come up with a number on how many people are listening to the podcast?

Tim,
I think you are way off. This podcast is perfectly suited for those of us who heard you on Netcot. Netcot was nice, but there was always that little something missing, and I think I have found it at TANcast. Whether it is Noah commenting on his massive junk, Andy’s not so skewed view on politics, or his more than skewed view of himself, the circle is now complete.
How many listeners are you up to now? 5?

Tim, seriously…I used to be a huge Trekkie, and even I would have been hard pressed to spend THAT amount of time at the Experience.
Chris Crocker is one of those things I consider myself lucky to have avoided. I have no idea who this person even is.
Thanks for another podcast, guys. Makes that drive from Rancho Cucamonga to Anaheim that much more enjoyable.
So essentially, the drive has been upgraded from being anally raped by Superman to just having a cathater inserted.

OK, I’m not a huge Chris Crocker fan either…but it’s annoying me that people honestly believe that he’s completely serious about everything he says. Because about 95% of the time…Chris Crocker is joking.
